要旨・内容

八戸藩の犯罪関係の法例で最も件数が多いのは「盗み」であり、このような傾向は様々な幕府・諸藩でも同様であったとされる。盗みに対する基本的な刑罰は死刑であった。本稿は刑罰の種別に従い年代順に事例を挙げている。

The "stealing" was the most common crime-related legislation in the Hachinohe domain, and it is said that this trend was the same in various bakufu and domains. The basic punishment for stealing was the death penalty. The article presents cases in chronological order according to the type of punishment.
