要旨・内容

南部菱刺しは青森県南部地方に伝わる伝統的手仕事である。南部地方の自然環境・産業・生活文化と密接に関わり合いながら継承されてきた。本研究では、地域の伝統文化としての南部菱刺しの価値を確認するとともに、その現状について分析する。津軽地方のこぎん刺しとの比較を踏まえ、南部菱刺しの継承と活性化に向けての課題を抽出する。

要旨・内容 (英語)

"Nambu Diamond Embroidery" is traditional handwork inherited in the Nambu region of Aomori prefecture. This study aims to affirm the value of the Nambu Diamond Embroidery as the traditional culture in the region, and analyze the current situation thereof. Specifically, the study extracts issues for inheritance and activation of the Nambu Diamond Embroidery in comparison with "Koginsashi" in the Tsugaru region.
